Professional repair and revision of the cylinder head - service by our partner ABP-Racing.
After many years of use, damage and wear often occur on the cylinder head, especially on the valves and valve seats. Then it's time for a cylinder head revision.
This job includes:
- Disassembly and rough cleaning of the provided cylinder head
- Glass bead blasting to remove the oil-carbon-pollutions
- ultrasonic cleaning
- disassembly and careful checking of all components
- mechanical milling of the valve seats
- Glass bead blasting and mechanical grinding of the valves
- milling of the sealing surfaces
- Assembly of all components
- Checking the tightness of the valve seats with vacuum
The cylinder head corresponds to the new condition by processing the valve seats, valves, sealing surfaces, etc., all components subject to wear are reworked.
Cylinder head including intake manifold must be sent in.
(If further damage is detected during the inspection of the cylinder head, it will be communicated transparently and further action will be discussed together.)
