When riding off-road, the large, traditional handlebar mirrors are often obstructive. They're too big, fold quickly when they hit bushes and branches, and break too quickly in case of a crash. And when you fold them up, you can't see anything either... These robust and compact handlebar mirrors aren't street-legal (they're too small in the eyes of the law), but they still allow you to keep an overview when riding off-road (especially in a group).
